The issue of climate change is not presented only in one area but worldwide. This is seen through the research and explorations that scientists and other people have found. These findings on climate change is a life changing experience because the data collected is massive and so far from the data people collected, it is found that there are many factors in which can contribute to climate change and shifts in nature. Many people are unaware of and some do not even care about these factors. Data has been collected through the studies of weather changes, temperature changes and the seasonal shifts that make life unbalanced, within several countries such as: Antarctica, Greenland, China, India, the Pacific, New Orleans and even the countries and cities predicted to see troubles within the near years to come.
While some people think that the world is two big for people to destroy the earth through global warming, research proves that over the years knowingly and unknowingly this has been untrue. For example, the United States is the largest country to contribute to pollution and therefore global warming. The way life and nature was a few years ago all in balance has over the years declined and is slowly disappearing. Land, ice caps, animal life and human life are all affected by the scientific research collected and the observations made. The shift in temperature directly relates to the shift in abnormal weather and the occurrence of several natural disasters. It is discovered that the warmer the temperature of the oceans, the higher chances there is of storms or tornado's occurring. Furthermore, with the increasing temperature, the increase in the oceans wind and moisture intensifies the strength of storms and hurricanes. Climate change also adds to weather change because it is seen that over the years, an increase in global warming led to an increase in precipitation and where the precipitation occurred. As a result so many countries around the world have been hit with hurricanes like Katrina, floods in China and India, and droughts. Moreover, the temperature and weather changes have affected: the seasonal reproduction of birds, coral reefs have lost their natural color and beauty, insects and other animals are dying off, and diseases are on the raise.
Glaciers, ice caps, permafrost and land are affected by climate change. The Grinnell glacier in the Glacier National Park, the Colombia glacier, the AXOLO glacier in Nepal and some of the many glaciers that have decreased in size because of the climate change and scientists have gathered research that says that about forty percent of the water people live on comes from glaciers. The amount of ice that has melted in Antarctica, Alaska, and Greenland is tremendous and has shifted the nature of life. In Alaska the pipe lines, permafrost and tress have been affected by the change seen with the glaciers and ice caps. The carbon dioxide levels also play a role in global warming and the change in the rise and decrease in temperature. The more the carbon dioxide, result in warmer temperature. Graphs concluded from research reveals that over the year’s temperature and carbon dioxide have increased greatly over the years as these graphs also predict that there may be a great continuation to carbon dioxide increase which is recorded from back over 650,000 years.
Scientific research has shown that global warming has affected the earth worldwide and very greatly. Many natural disasters and destruction of glaciers and ice capes has resulted and affected every living creature. Yet, as people gain concern about global warming, much must be done to prevent the continuous increase of the temperature and carbon dioxide levels. It is hypothesized that if the ice caps keep melting including the glaciers in Antarctica and Greenland, then the sea levels would rise and result in the flooding and act for evacuation in several places including San Francisco, Florida and New York. Global warming has an affect on life, culturally, socially and economically but it is up to the people to work towards preventing the worst for the world.
